 Members of the Management Committee are the only members of the Association, at this stage. The purpose of Incorporating was purely to protect the name, accounts and assets of The Muster.   This also has an advantage of being able to tap into the various grants programs available. Membership may change in the future. The constitution limits the Management Committee to 9 members, with 3 groups of 3; each group serving for 3 years (triennial rule). If you wish to serve on your committee, let your intentions known to a committee member and you may be contacted when a vacancy occurs. Your committee believes this is the best model to retain the integrity of The Association and Event whilst maintaining all legal requirements of Incorporation. PLEASE NOTE: The Event, in November each year, is separate to the Association (which plans and operates The Event), and membership IS NOT a requirement.
The Financial Reports are lodged with the Office of Fair Trading (Qld) each year......JP
